It was in 1963 that the Porsche 911 appeared. As the years passed and the seven generations that had passed through its 56 years of existence, it went from being a simple model to an icon, a legend in the automotive world. Making whole generations dream, it has become the heart of all lovers of beautiful mechanics. For proof, since its launch, it has sold over a million copies and is one of the most sought-after models by collectors, whether wealthy or not.
The 911 is still one of those rare models that always turn heads on their way. In the street, almost everyone recognizes the unique lines of the 911. This recognition is primarily due to the continuity of style over the years. No revolution, but progressive developments - with the exception of course the shape of the lighthouses of the 996 and again - Timeless and welcomed by all, the design of the 911 has gone through the ages without getting a wrinkle.
Naturally, each generation has brought its share of changes, but without altering the original pace. This new 911 is no exception to this rule and adopts more vertical optics, a new front bumper with large air intakes and ribs on the hood. It should also be noted that the wheels are no longer the same diameter: 20 inches for the front and 21 inches for the rear.
It is however on the side of the stern that the modifications are most notorious with a light strip running across the width and rear wings even more curved. The bars of the ventilation grille are chrome for the 4S version and matt for the 2S. So many novelties, but the profile remains unchanged and again the magic operates
